About Research Pages
Every great, successful and innovative product to come to the public and private markets, benefits from extensive research; Independio is much the same. Research for Independio began as a capstone project for a Harvard University Extension School graduate student, and continues to grow it’s concept and design into an urgently needed and adaptable digitial assistive technology tool.
The following links to research pages will help you to learn more about how the manual version of Independio’s assessment tools has worked significantly well in a few real experimental cases with autistic and intellectually disabled adults in Pennsylvania. These individuals have volunteered to try Independio for one year before data was taken to support the extensive growth you will see on the Use Cases page. In addition, you can review the supporting research that paved the way for Independio to exist, and the statistics used for justification to explain why digital assistive technology tools, like Independio, are so badly needed for adults diagnosed with Autism and other intellectual disabilities.
